Lunenburg's Soup & Stew Cook-Off
Cooler weather is on the way, and what better way to warm up than with a bowl of delicious soup or stew? Join us for our Soup & Stew Cook-Off, featuring a variety of homemade recipes and raffle baskets. All proceeds will support the Lunenburg Recreation Department and help us continue offering programs, events, and maintaining our Town Beach for the community.
There are four ways to participate:
1. Enter the Competition
Do you have a favorite family recipe or a signature soup or stew that everyone loves? We welcome entries from individuals, families, groups, businesses, restaurants, and community organizations. Share your best dish and compete for awards, prizes, and community bragging rights! You will also receive 5 raffle tickets. After entry, more information and forms will be sent via email and if you have quesstions please email Krista at kdeveau@lunenburgma.gov
2. Attend as a Taster
Purchase a tasting ticket and sample a variety of soups and stews while voting for your favorites. You will also receive 3 raffle tickets. Space and tasting portions are limited, so be sure to reserve your spot early. Tasters must be 13 or older. We will open registration after we receive contestants.
We will not open registration until we have our contestants.
3. Donate
If you, your department, business, or organization would like to create and donate a raffle basket, or contribute items for one, we would be incredibly grateful for your support. Please email Krista at kdeveau@lunenburgma.gov
As a token of our appreciation, individuals, departments, businesses, and organizations that contribute will be recognized at the event and on Lunenburg Recreation's social media platforms. Your generosity will help make this event a success while supporting opportunities that bring our community together.
4. Guest
Even if you're not tasting, you're welcome to stop by and check out the raffle baskets.
