One of our most popular programs! Minecraft isn’t just for video gamers – it’s for explorers, designers, and builders, too! Students will explore the basics of art, architecture, animation, and the patented Redstone circuitry. They will build their own Minecraft world, collaborate on a friend’s world, design animated characters with command blocks, and take home digital files so that they can keep exploring their world after class has ended. They’ll also gain an understanding of how one of the most popular platforms in the world works.

General Information
  • Level: Beginner | Prerequisites: None
  • Software Required for Virtual: Zoom, Minecraft (Java edition $26.95 extra fee)
  • Other Tech Requirements for Virtual: Windows or Mac computer, or a Chromebook that supports Linux.
  • Result: A solid foundation in Minecraft. Your own Minecraft world with fun features like animated characters. Digital files so you can keep BUILDING after class ends.
